Sofia Design was founded in 2022 by artist Charlene Lynch and launched officially in May 2023. Her vision was inspired by her background in fine arts and working in the design industry for over 15 years. Her travels across Canada and the US brings together a unique vintage collection to help inspire her customers to collect rare and odd finds for their homes, one that promotes upcycling decor.

- “ Every artwork has its story. My fascination towards vintage pottery are the earthy textures, the shape and the warmth that they bring to our home. These items paved the way for our designs today and the aim of Sofia Design is to incorporate these elements into our contemporary homes.

I tend to keep my designs light and whimsical. There are no rules, just admiration for the decor I pick up along the way and the historical context that these items hold. My paintings are in a way a tribute to past artists. It’s an honour to find these creations and to discover their origin.”
